Couples Therapy in Berlin

Close relationships – whether friendships, romantic partnerships, or family bonds – can be a place of deep peace and, at the same time, a source of great emotional strain.
Our relationships often reflect inner conflicts, core beliefs, and past attachment experiences. When interpersonal conflicts or patterns repeat, the solution should not only be sought on the outside – but also in a reflection of one's own emotional imprint and behavior.
Every relationship crisis holds the potential for personal growth – if it is consciously embraced.
Relationships continually challenge us to find a personal and healthy balance between two fundamental human needs: the need for connection and closeness on one side, and the need for autonomy and self-realization on the other.
This requires developing a constructive way to deal with internal ambivalence.
Through reflection, you can learn to better recognize and express your needs – and to navigate conflict more mindfully.
Understanding your own attachment and conflict patterns can be helpful in this process.
Going deeper, previous relationship experiences and internalized beliefs can be explored and gently transformed.
Framework
Couples therapy is a self-pay service and is not covered by statutory health insurance.
In some cases, partial reimbursement may be possible through private health insurance or supplementary insurance – please clarify this directly with your provider in advance.
I offer sessions in either 50- or 80-minute formats, depending on your needs and concerns.
Appointments take place at my practice in Berlin-Kreuzberg.
The number and frequency of sessions are based on your individual situation and will be arranged accordingly.
